If you only need a bike for a few hours or for a day or two, Fanø Bikes offers bike rental via app.
We have 15 unmanned bike stations on the island where you can rent a bicycle without reservation. In this way, we hope that even more people can get to experience Fanø as Fanø should be experienced. By bike.
Renting a bike is easy:
- You download the app: "Donkey Republic" from app store or google play. In the app you can see where the bikes are located.
- When you are standing by the bike, you select the specific bike in the app and unlock it from your phone (Bluetooth). Now you are ready to bike
- You can keep the bike for as long as your wish and keep track of the rental price in the app. The hourly rate decreases the longer you rent the bike.

When you are done biking, you return the bike to any of the 15 stations and finish the rental in the app. It doesn't get easier than that.
